First test print issue a success.
This week, the first print issues of the Advanture Magazine has been arriving through the doors of vanlifers in the UK, across Europe and even as far as the USA and Australia. Advanture Magazine now available in print
Advanture Magazine now available in print
A little over two months ago, we asked our audience on Instagram if they would be interested to get offline, and read a paper version of the Advanture Magazine. An overwhelming response came in, so it was made clear that it was time to test a printed edition of the vanlife magazine.
We wanted the magazine to represent something less of a glossy highstreet mag, and more of a collectable journal.
The result is a beautiful coffee table style soft cover, printed on medium weight paper that has a beautiful texture to it. We have tested two different papers on this test run. The EN magazines have a soft silk laminated paper finish, and the DE magazines are printed on uncoated stock. The printer we selected also uses quality vegetable based inks and have extensive recycling programs at the factory.
So, what was our motivation to make Advanture Magazine now available in print?
We were the number one advocates or pushing an online digital magazine. However, finding ourselves glues to a digital device over the past year of lockdown and confinements has taken its toll. With the print magazine, we feel it gives a much needed break from your screen, offering a better experience to help disconnect.
Packed full of wanderlust, our magazine is here to keep you inspired to live the vanlife.
But the digital edition will continue! The two editions of the magazine will co-exist so that you can choose the time and place to sit there with a copy and a printed edition, or check in with the digital magazine when you want to be a bit more mobile.
The magazine future looks strong. However, we are totally reliant on our readers and will soon start to adapt our platform towards paid for content.
